About this place
At Tanoshimi, you can put together a meal by choosing a few small plates, from snacks to more substantial dishes. The listed menu includes pike-conger tempura, scallop sashimi (2 pieces) and house-made gyoza (6 pieces). The braised pork belly comes with a simmered egg. For something lighter, there is also a choice of iburigakko with cream cheese or ume suisho, a crunchy dish made with shark cartilage and plum seasoning.
For a more filling meal, the menu also lists an aonori seaweed rice bowl and stir-fried beef short ribs, offering a different way to order from a meal centred on snacks. Drinks include beer, plum sours and an apricot candy sour, as well as Kinmiya shochu by the bottle, so you can choose what to have with your food.
Dine-in service and table service are available, and reservations are accepted. The izakaya is in Tachibana, Sumida City, and is open daily except Sunday, from 17:00 until 0:00 the following day.
